A bilingual (Marathi + English) iOS content app for the Women & Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra. It delivers meal recipes (day-wise), best practices, training material, government schemes, GRs, audio guidance and downloadable PDFs - all offline-first via Core Data caching and on-device PDF storage, with in-app PDF viewing.
WCD is a Marathi-first mobile content app for the Maharashtra Women & Child Development Department, delivering anganwadi/nutrition recipes, best practices, training, schemes, GRs and audio with full offline capability via Core Data caching and downloaded PDF/audio stored on-device.
Built in Objective-C with a Core Data persistence layer caching recipes/practices/schemes/training/audio/GRs fetched from a PHP REST endpoint (getdetails.php), plus downloaded-and-cached PDFs into the app Documents directory.
Delivered an in-app PDF viewer (CGPDFDocument), a custom Language helper switching en/mr-IN strings with Devanagari Marathi fonts, day-wise meal recipes with ingredients and methods, Marathi audio guidance, and a home-screen ticker showing department banner content.
Produced a bilingual, offline-first content platform that brings recipes, practices, schemes, GRs, training and audio to anganwadi and community users even in low-connectivity areas.
