UberClone - Ride Hailing App (iOS)

UberClone is a native Objective-C iOS ride-hailing app modelled on Uber, with OTP-verified phone sign-up, account registration with form validation, Google Places autocomplete for pickup/drop-off, route finding and MapKit with custom zoom control, CoreLocation tracking, payment methods and card offers, trip history, rewards, Drive-with-Us and legal/help screens, all driven by an AFNetworking REST backend and Facebook 'pop' animations with a sliding side menu.

Scope of delivery

Built UberClone, a native Objective-C iOS ride-hailing app replicating the Uber experience - from OTP sign-up and validated registration to map-based booking, payment methods, trip history, rewards and a Drive-with-Us module, wired to an AFNetworking REST backend.

02 Business Challenge

Delivering a full ride-hailing app required OTP onboarding, map-based booking with place search and routing, and a broad set of account, payment and support flows.

03 Our Solution

Developed in Objective-C with UIKit/Main storyboard using AFNetworking 3.0 for network calls (NetworkCallUtility, Vars endpoints) and ALPValidator (JOTextField) for per-field validation, MapKit with a custom zoom-level category plus Google Places autocomplete and a route finder for pickup/drop-off, CoreLocationController for location tracking, Facebook pop for animations, and LMSideBarController for the left/right navigation menus across all modules.
